2008/9 – AMEC
Project lead for energy balance and process development, specification of equipment, cost estimation, RFQ document drafting, vendor negotiations, bid comparisons and definition report for two pulp mills in Chile. 1) Conversion of a recovery boiler to a biomass fired bubbling fluidized bed boiler, new 50 MW steam turbine and boiler water treatment plant. 2) New power station with a biomass and coal fired 210 t/h bubbling fluidized bed boiler, 85 MW steam turbine and boiler water treatment plant. Development of waste energy conversion, biomass and coal fired CHP plants and energy efficiency projects in various major industries including ferrometals, cement, petro-chemical, biomass and coking. South Africa.
2012 – 2015 STORA ENSO China
Power & Recovery Area Project Manager for a greenfields integrated pulp and board mill by Scandinavian company. Area includes CFB power boiler (234 t/h), chemical recovery boiler (510 t/h), 2x steam turbine generators (70 MWea), coal and biomass handling system, black liquor evaporation plant, recaustisizing plant, lime kiln, boiler feedwater plant TPC ~ €245mil.
